3d Printing

What is it?

3D printing is basically the construction of a three dimensional object by adding layer by
layer of whatever material or deposit you want and is all controlled by a computer. Three
dimensional printing is mainly used for creating prototypes but has recently been used to
create finished products as well. click here

How does it work?

In simple terms, 3d printing involves materials like plastic, composites or bio-materials and
layers these materials to get a final product. They vary in all different shapes, colors and
sizes. Anyone can print if they have access to everything they need but many companies have begun
to print more advanced things. For example nike has made cleats that help athletes perform better
than they would have with normal manufacturing ideas. Other notable things made are jet engines,
furniture, jewelry replications, prosthetic body parts and even some parts of homes. click here

What to Look for

The future of 3d printing is predicted to be a large part of the manufacturing business. By just
2023, analysts predict the 3D industry will be worth 32.7 billion dollars. 3D printing is going to
be used for all types of helpful things. In the future we will be seeing 3d printed electric shuttles,
more spaceships and rockets as some companies have already completed their prototypes of them and even
healthcare will improve. China has even proposed to build a dam with a distributed 3d printer. click here
